I love the time management and finance management of it. I would sit down to play and my real life time would disapper. I like starting with nothing and end up owning a business or two. I ended up with a graphic design business and started buying real estate to rent out for extra money. I can't wait to see what else the Dev adds to the game!. To start things off I want to tell you just how happy I am to be alive! This Grand life has taught me the True Meaning of life and just why I am alive today! I mean my in-game character did possibly die three times of insanity but looking past that I now know how lucky I am to be alive and it is all down to this 5 Star one of a kind game!Okay aside from... that, in all seriousness This Grand Life is a great game and you should definitely invest your money into it! I say that complete truth. (Yes, I know I got given the game but that has not affected my review) When you start i think you may find the game a little boring, that’s a fact, but once you get past that first 15 minutes and have gathered your bearings you can enjoy the full expanse of choices this game has to offer. You can start at the top or choose the begin at the bottom and battle to become that Rich Boy genius that you strive to be. Or on the flip side you could become a renowned failure and start to drink beer all day and pick fights with whomever attempts to bat an eyelid in your direction. At the end of the day it is Your Life and you can make it a Grand Life if you so desire. So, get out there and make your life worth it!. Not for everyone for sure but i absolutely love the game! Hoping more maps come out!. Been playing it on and off and for the price, its worth it, its a money/time budgeting simulator that's a lot of fun. It starts off really hard at first with you trying to budget your time with your avatars current needs and wants but once you get the ball rolling it gets a lot more interesting. You can own houses, start multiple businesses, play with the stock market, become a landlord of multiple properties, own all kinds of collectables, and do many other things. The game is well worth the price in my opinion, also dev is pretty active in the forum and does frequent updates and takes suggestions into consideration.. It's a fun little life simulation. The gameplay consists mostly of time management. You every action you do reduces the time you have left for the current week. You can spend the time in working to earn money (and get work experience), eat, shower, smoke, take study courses, go to the gym or plenty other activities. You can start and own businesses etc. and jobs have different requirements like certain bachelor degrees or some jobs don't have any requirements like kitchen hand at the burger joint. You will be mainly juggling the different activities to try and get ahead in life. You can also purchase collectiables and buy a house or live as a tenant. You can buy things like TV or a fridge to get additional free activities at home. You can also be homeless if you want.I'd say the game is quiet fun but the price might be a bit too steep for it. Unless you are particularly interested in this type of game like I am, I would say maybe wait for a discount. I think there is a demo for this game as well, so maybe try out the demo first and then decide.. Good- Interesting concept, I like the conceptBad- Feel like an early Alpha- End-game = bad . The ultimate gold for this game to start your own business. But it is not a busines. It is a job with "helpers". You have to manually click on work, assign "helpers" to work, and so on. Doesnt have a feel of a business.- Too shallow. Even the game-of-life board game have more depth. Like you can stay in 2-3 places, have 1 single path of "food cooking item" choices. Total number of items you can buy is 4. Seriously, 4 (food, excerise, transport, tv).Conclusion:- I hope the developers will add in more depth into this game.. After playing 63hrs on EA v2.21 the game seems to be very promising and addictive just needs more content. It's for those who likes tycoon or similar paper chaser sims. Hopefully, it will have workshop soon, so it won't be a problem anymore.It can be a fun ride to get rich or very challenging depending on the starting conditions you choose.
